Our Commitment to Sustainability

Let’s Chat Sustainability

  • What is “Sustainability”?

  • How do we do our part?

  • How do we keep the cycle going?

WHAT THE HELL IS SUSTAINABLE OR NOT?

Let’s define it: “avoidance of the depletion of natural resources in order to maintain an ecological balance.” SO BASICALLY- your product is sustainable if it’s not using resources, hurting the eco system, and ultimately doesn’t wind up in a landfill. So your next question may be…won’t it eventually end up in a landfill? And to that I have to say..I don’t know of literally any bag I have ever had in my lifetime could ever even possibly be or end up in a landfill. I mean, it’s CHANEL for God’s sake!

How We do Sustainability:

We purchase used or like-new pieces which extends the life cycle of that piece of clothing or accessory. We love that our pieces have experienced a little bit of history, and get a whole new life to live.

By purchasing pre-owned, you are guaranteeing that this garment or bag won’t end up in a landfill anytime soon. Handbags don’t go through the washer and dryer, and in most cases don’t get stains or tears, which contributes to the long lifespan of the product. Handbags are durable & easy for owners to care for. By buying resale you refuse to feed the big beast of consumerism and instead repurpose pieces.

As for packaging- we reuse all of our packaging. That’s right. SO your shipping box may not be the same every single time but the luxury packaging will be! We don’t need more plastic and garbage littering our planet.

How we keep the cycle going:

We are interested in purchasing pre-owned bags, (and open to discussing trades as well). This keeps the product sustainable & reusable. When we buy New we are continuously feeding consumerism, contributing to waste & fast fashion, and overall, dwindling our precious resources on our planet. By purchasing used or pre-owned bags, we keep the re-cycle going forever!
